LAST CRAFT SALE OF THE YEAR

Well last sale of the year and I have been busy this last month.  

Remember Cosmo Centre in Moose Jaw Sat. Oct 25th from 9 to 3 Free admittance and lots of hand made things great for Christmas.

Well it is Craft Sale time again, and I have been busy the last month trying to get some stuff done, seems I stall at half way.. lol  got a few new things this year, and some old staples, of course my coasters, this time they are funny retro women humor ones, great to pair up with a wine glass and a bottle.  lol

Been trying a few new things so I hope they sell.  My daughter has also made some fridge magnets and some wooden bracelets and some great little note books.  

Well March has started and I am starting my birthday party stuff...  first that needed was the invitations.

Everyone seemed to really like the inviations.  I have made some wine glass charms also.  

I have a few more things to get done.  But 2 weeks until party date.. lol  

The Wine charms were very simple to make really I just found some old pictures of me. and when into a photo editor online ** there are free ones http://www.picmonkey.com/ ****  this is my go to when I just just want something simple.  They have a great Polaroid frame to use.  and I use the text to write on the bottom of it and save it to my computer.  I then print them either in word, I sized them to 2.5 inches.  I tried the 1.5 but I wanted them a little bit bigger..  then printed them on a card stock and laminated them and then cut them out.. easy peasy.  I added a little jump ring through the top and then bought some earring hoops and attached them as they are the perfect size for a wine glass.   Hope you like them.  very easy to do and if you wanted you could add some beads or what ever also.

 Swap Time at Lefty productions and well I had to create 2 quote cards from movies.  so the first one here I couldn't really decide on one,  it could be why so serious, as I really didn't think when I did this one as I tend to over think things so I just went with what ever and I really like the way it turned out..  the second one here I cheated and took a quote from Mocking Jay, Hunger Games series.  Real or Not Real.

I used some alcohol inks on some acetate and then put it over the stamped image of the forest.  the Picture really doesn't do any justice.

here are a few shots from my Oscar book.  I did it around it happened one night it won in 1923 I believe.  Great movie.  I distressed the pages and added some oldish stamps and just a little something to give it a little age.

Post groundhogs day

Well spring has to arrive eventually, luckily I have crafting to make it bearable.   This weekend I have been busy,  started my tabbed mini book for my swap at Lefty Productions Swap.  I thought I would have more "issues" with this one as I didnt know where I was going to go with it..  maybe that is the secret dont think just do.  :)  I have the pages done just want to finish with some embellishments and it will be complete.  I have two swaps this month.. so I should start on the other one today at some point after I clean up my work space,

So less than 2 months till my 40th so with that comes the task of "pinning" ideas for my birthday,  I keep going back and forth on a party.  should I wait and do a big one in the summer when it is warm or do one now,  I keep leaning towards just a small one now and a big one in the summer.  

well Im off to tidy and see if I can get any "work" done.. :)  Happy Monday everyone.
